Kenny focuses on strategic development and re-vamping core processes to improve effectiveness of organizations. Highly skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Marketing Strategy, Volunteer Management, Public Speaking, and Social Media, he is also a proven entrepreneur, and well rounded professional with experience both in the non-profit sector as well as with religious institutions both in Spain and the United States. He holds a Licenciatura from Alcalá de Henares University and Durham University.
Cigdem Selgur
Hello Europe Communications Manager (Turkey)
Cigdem has been driving strategic communications projects to strengthen the perception of civil society and philanthropy in Turkey for more than a decade. Since 2018, she is leading communication and marketing strategies for Ashoka Turkey, Ashoka Europe, and co-leading Ashoka Europe Communication team in the world's first and largest social entrepreneurship platform. Cigdem believes that social entrepreneurs are the leading agents of social systemic change. She designs and enables cross-sector collaborations to expand and leverage the value of social impact and changemaking both in Turkey and Europe.
Ella Goncarova
Hello Europe Lead (SPAIN)
Ella is a driven professional with 10+ years of experience with building bridges across sectors, fields and cultures. At Ashoka, she mobilizes corporate partners and foundations around a shared mission to tackle social issues at their core, support proximate leaders and engage in multi-stakeholder initiatives related to migration, diversity, and equity in Europe, Central America, and South Asia. With Hello Europe, she aims to shift narratives on migration through collaborative frameworks.
Anne Miersch
Hello Europe Finance (Germany)
Anne is passionately dedicated to advancing systemic social change and, above all, involving young people. She has over 5 years of experience in the finance and legal of international NGOs and social enterprises, and contributes her expertise at Ashoka since 2022. She creates sustainable structures that provide the necessary financial stability and legal security to successfully and sustainably implement projects. Anne holds a Master's degree in Nonprofit Management and Public Governance.
SERENA MIZZONI
Hello Europe REFUGEE FUND MANAGeR (Ireland)
Serena has been with Ashoka since 2011, in which time she spent 7 years leading the Ashoka’s Irish office. Before joining Ashoka, Serena ran her own talent consultancy company, setting this up just out of college. She holds a B.A in Human Resource Management and a M.A in Strategic HRM. She regularly lectures on topics including Social Marketing, Human Rights and Social Entrepreneurship.
LAURA BATALLA ADAM
Head of the Policy Unit (Belgium)
Laura is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience working in policy, research and advocacy. She has +7 years experience working in the European Parliament advising MEPs on different policy areas and managing their parliamentary offices. Laura has established intrapreneurial initiatives like the European Parliament Turkey Forum, of which she is the Secretary General since 2014. She speaks and publishes regularly on a variety of international topics.
